IPOB crisis: MASSOB warns detractors of the struggle

Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has warned splinter groups of the indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to stop toying with the struggle or be made to face the full wrath of the organisation. MASSOB, in a release by its National Director of Welfare, Comrade Jude Chukwu, described the actions of the splinter groups of IPOB as rebellion and outright childish play.
“We have reviewed the various statements of the groups and came to the realisation that all they wanted to achieve is to make nonsense of the efforts of the director of Radio Biafra and leader of IPOB, Comrade Nnamdi Kanu,” it stated. Chukwu said the way and manner the leader of these splinter groups operates makes them faceless groups without genuine agenda.
“The struggle for the  sovereign state of Biafra has come a long way and cannot be destroyed by any self-seeking or power drunken individuals.
I am an Aba brought up; if I cannot identify the leaders of these groups it all means they are just creation of government,” he said. He advised the groups that, if they are real, they should go back to the umbrella of the Indigenous People of Biafra, table their dissatisfaction and come out as a stronger body, because divided, he noted “we will fall and being united we will definitely succeed.”
