A middle-aged
man, identified only as Kayode, is reported to have lost his car after
his friend allegedly drugged him at a drinking spot.
A resident, who preferred anonymity, said the incident happened on Tuesday at about 7:00 p.m. at Paso in Gwagwalada Area Council.

He said the victim and his friend were drinking at the same table when he suddenly dozed off.
He said it was suspected that the friend poured a sedative into his drink when he left to ease himself.
According to him, the man then removed the car keys from his friend who was deeply asleep and zoomed off.
He said people were attracted to the scene when the man who was in deep slumber fell off the table to the ground.
“The crowd found the man lying on the ground and it was later discovered that a man he was drinking with had poured a substance in his cup, when he went to ease himself,” the resident said.
Our reporter learnt that the victim, who resides at Unguwar Dodo, later regained consciousness only to discover that his car was no longer where he had parked it.
The Gwagwalada Police Divisional Crime Officer (DPO), Philip K. Dogo, however, could not be reached for comment while sources at the station said they were not aware of the incident.
