| Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate |
A new militant.group, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, has carried
out its threat to bomb oil and gas installations in the region by
bombing a major oil trunkline in Isoko, Delta State.
The group carried out the attack on Wednesday, a day after it threatened to.bloe up oil facilities in the upland area of the Niger Delta. Among facilities it listed for attack are the Port Harcourt and Warri refineries.
The group hit the trunkline around 2am on Wednesday. The pipeline feeds the Eriemu Manifold, operated by Nigerian Petroleum Development Company in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.
It also threatened to attack NPDC officials if they attempt to repair it.
